Friday, July 27th, 2012
Rider Check In and Happy Hour
Rider Check-In and Bicycle drop-off and packet pickup, followed by a party for Ride 4 Yellow sponsors, volunteers, riders and committee members.
Saturday Night we will have a happy hour event with our Polka Dot Jersey Sponsor, Slopeside Bar and Grill, for all riders and family. All are welcome to attend.
Saturday, July 28th, 2012
The third annual Ride 4 Yellow mountain bike challenge begins at Dumont Lake on Rabbit Ears Pass* and ends with a Post-Ride Celebration picnic at the base of the Gondola at the Steamboat Ski Area.
6 to 6:30 a.m. — Riders gather at the Slopeside Promenade at Torian Plum for shuttle ride to the ride start
6:30 a.m. — Shuttle buses depart Meadows Parking Lot for Dumont Lake
7:30 a.m. — Buses arrive at Dumont Lake; Opening ceremony
8:15 a.m. — First wave of riders departs from start line
8:30 a.m. — All riders are on course!
10:30 a.m. — Sponsor expo area opens at the base of the Mountain in Torian Plum Plaza.
11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — Lunch buffet
6:00 p.m. - Ride 4 Yellow Feed including our Keynote speaker and awards ceremony. We will have also silent auction and top fundraiser prizes will be given away.
*The Ride 4 Yellow course is subject to change based on weather and snow conditions at the time of the event in July. Riders will be notified as soon as possible about any course changes.
