Ride 4 Yellow is an event started by a bunch of passionate people in Steamboat Springs who want to help make a difference in the fight against cancer.

The third annual Ride 4 Yellow is Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012. The exclusive ride is again limited to the first 200 cyclists who register and commit to raising at least $500 to help fight cancer.

The inaugural event was Aug. 8, 2010, and featured 200 cyclists of all abilities, including Lance Armstrong. The first-ever Ride 4 Yellow raised more than $300,000 in the fight against cancer at the global and local levels.

The Ride

The third annual Ride 4 Yellow mountain bike event will be held Aug. 12, 2012, in Steamboat Springs, CO, USA. The Divide Ride is an epic 26-mile ride on pristine singletrack across the Continental Divide.*

The Divide Trail is considered one of the most spectacular mountain bike rides in the Rockies. It begins at 10,000-foot Dumont Lake on Rabbit Ears Pass just outside of Steamboat Springs and winds along the Continental Divide with more than 26 miles of singletrack that eventually lead up and over the backside of Mount Werner and into the Steamboat ski area. The ride finishes at the base of the Steamboat Ski Area.
